Clear Turquoise
Late May in Greece. Mykonos is starting to come alive, the sun is warm, the sea is already perfect for swimming. We want to make the most of this early summer spirit: beach days, salty skin, that feeling of freedom, plus yoga, Greek cuisine and a villa that’s a little too cliché. This retreat is for anyone who wants to give themselves a week to recharge, slow down and catch their breath. Come for the yoga, stay for the swims, naps and the rare feeling of having absolutely nowhere to be.
Our home for the week is Villa Sanarte near Mykonos Town. It’s almost too stereotypically Mykonos to be real: white walls, a pool, a view of the Aegean Sea, plenty of sunshine and a beach just down the road. In the mornings, we’ll take over the terrace for yoga, afternoons are for swimming, reading or doing absolutely nothing, and evenings are for long dinners and even longer conversations.
The best part: Glyfadi Beach is just a few minutes' walk away. So whenever you feel like a swim, you can simply grab your towel and head down to the sea. Go for a morning dip after yoga, spend the afternoon on the beach or catch one last swim before dinner. And when you feel like leaving the villa, Mykonos Town and its famous windmills are about 15 minutes away by car, perfect for an easy afternoon or evening trip.
The villa has everything we need for a week of doing less: comfortable living spaces, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, a fully equipped kitchen, a pool and plenty of places to hang out or disappear for a while. Basically, everything you need to feel at home, just somewhere much warmer and with better swimming.

There’s plenty of space to settle in, with one main villa and three separate guesthouses. All double rooms have a private bathroom, air conditioning and sea views, with daily cleaning included. Whether you want to hang out together or have some quiet time to yourself, there’s plenty of room for both.
Included: towels & beach towels, shampoo & shower gel
-
Aimilia, our Greek cook, will prepare vegetarian and vegan dishes inspired by Greek cuisine, with her own creative twist and lots of fresh, seasonal ingredients.
After the morning session, we’ll have a brunch, followed by a relaxed dinner in the evening. Good food, plenty of time around the table, and no need to rush.
-
If you feel like adding a little more to your week, the villa can also arrange a few extras: massages at the villa, a trip to Delos, the ancient sacred island just off Mykonos, or a private boat to explore the island from the water. All completely optional, depending on what you’re in the mood for.
-
Mykonos is easily accessible by plane. To make your arrival as smooth as possible, transport can be arranged to take you from the airport to the villa (about 15 minutes).
